Chelsea loanee Ângelo Gabriel (18) is set to start for RC Strasbourg Alsace when they take on RC Lens on Friday night.
Gabriel has impressed since arriving on loan from Chelsea and looks set to be rewarded with his third start for Les Alsaciens. He has one assist to his name and has been a threat in these opening matchdays. Patrick Vieira’s biggest headache is upfront. He has three names to choose from for just one position. It is expected that Emanuel Emegha will get the nod ahead of Kevin Gameiro and Lebo Mothiba.
Vieira has no fresh injury worries as he looks to win back-to-back games for the first time with his new club. Victory by three goals or more would allow them to temporarily take top spot in Ligue 1.
