PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani undergoing treatment for ankle sprain

Randal Kolo Muani (24), who was a dramatic late signing for Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day, will not be fit to face Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday, the club have announced

It was on, off and then on again. It was a day of highs and lows at PSG, but the deal eventually got done. Kolo Muani has signed from Eintracht Frankfurt on a five-year deal, meaning that Les Parisiens could line up with a full-french front three of Kylian Mbappé, Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembélé.

However, we won’t see that against Lyon. In a medical report, the club announced that the former FC Nantes forward is recovering from a sprained ankle and will therefore remain in treatment for the next few days. The €90m signing therefore won’t feature for his new club until after the international break.

PSG also announced that Nuno Mendes was nearing his return, Lee Kang-in is training individually as he works his way back from fitness, whilst Presnel Kimpembé also remains sidelined.
