FT: Brest 1-1 Ajaccio: A result that does not really suit either side. Brest were better in the first, but Ajaccio came back them in the second. The home side are now sitting dangerously close to relegation.
FT: Lorient 2-1 Evian: A highly professional performance from the home side puts them in 7th, but just three pints behind Nice in 4th. They are right in the European mix. A poor goal difference is the only thing that is letting the team down. Evian now in the bottom three and were outclassed today, before getting a late consolation goal from a man who should have been sent off earlier in the game.
FT: Bastia 0-1 Nice: The 16 year old Maupay lifted the away side in what was a fairly even game throughout. Bastia look to be in a false position and Thauvin ran the show throughout. Really starting to show what he is capable of. Nice had the better chances, but the fact that Maupay was a full two yards offside, will leave Bastia annoyed and upset.
FT: Toulouse 2-2 Troyes: A game that suddenly roared life after Troyes scored after 78 minutes. The side in 19th place will have taken a draw before the game, but will be disappointed, having lead by two goals, with eight minutes to go. The crowd lifted Toulouse into responding. The home side’s European hopes look to be fading.
FT: Montpellier 1-0 Nancy: A vital three points for the home side, who keep their European ambitions well and truely alive after a slow start to the season. Nancy now rock bottom and lack substance up front. Survival looking less and less likely.

20:46: GOAL TOULOUSE: I do not believe this. The home side have suddenly clicked into life, and Didot fires home to equalise, raising the stadium roof. Toulouse now pushing for the winner. Troyes have let this one slip.

20:16: Ben Yedder coming on for Hermach, for Toulouse. Looking to bring attackers on to get a goal against Troyes, to keep their European hopes alive.
20:15: Thauvin gets in a strike for Bastia, but fails to hit the target. Bastia will rue missed chances if they lose this one

HT: MONTPELLIER 1-0 NANCY: Once again, the away side have played fairly well, but find themselves behind. Montpellier do not look a top side, but are slowly climbing up the table into European contention. Nancy will be upset with their lack of shots on goal, and the amount of fouls they are giving away. They do not look a bad side, but just can’t pick up any points at the moment.
HT: BASTIA 0-0 NICE: Nice have had more shots and more possession, but the game, however has been fairly even. Bastia are playing through Thauvin, but lack quality up front. Nice have not shown their true quality yet, in a game they badly need to win, as those around them are currently doing so.
HT: BREST 1-0 AJACCIO: The home side lead via a Raspentino goal, and it really should be more, as they have had all the chances. Ajaccio look lost, without Mutu, who was in fine form before his injury.
HT: LORIENT 1-0 EVIAN: Its been all Lorient and they were finally rewarded with a penalty, which Aliadiere converted, after a good period of pressure. They really are looking like they could make Europe this season, which would please president Loic Fery immensely.
HT: TOULOUSE 0-0 TROYES: The freekick came to nothing, a bit like this half. Toulouse dominating and could have had a penalty late on, but they are not quite clicking up front. One would expect them to find a goal in the second half, however.
19:45: NO PENALTY: M’Bengue tucks the ball into what looked like Tabanou in the area, who is pushed over, but nothing given. Still 0-0. Toulouse now have a freekick right on the edge of the box, though, from the next move. 22 yards from the goal.
19:42: GOAL LORIENT: Aliadiere calmly converts the penalty into the bottom left corner. It had been coming. Lorient now lead Evian 1-0
19:41: PENALTY TO LORIENT: Aliadiere brought down last man by Betao, who only receives a yellow card. Should be red
19:39: Toulouse have had a goal disallowed against Troyes. They are continuing to press.
19:35: GOAL MONTPELLIER: A long ball forward finds Mournier on the left, who puts the ball in for Herrera to head home. The player looks to have hurt himself in the process. The keeper had no chance. Nancy losing again. 1-0

19:31: Barthelme hits a left foot drive for Lorient, which goes just wide of the post. Lorient will fancy their chances, judging by the first half an hour. In charge here.
