Kylian Mbappe’s mother on Mbappé as a child: “He only talked about Milan”

In a recent interview with La Gazzeta dello Sport, Kylian Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari, sat down with the Italian sports publication and revealed more information about her son’s love for AC Milan as a child. The France captain’s (24) former love for the Serie A club will be tested this Wednesday as his PSG team take on the Italian giants in the Champions League.

The 24-year-old’s not so secret love for the club used to lead to tantrums. When asked about Mbappé as a child, the football agent said: “When he came home, he only ever talked about Milan. If they lost, he would throw the remote control at the television and shout insults in Italian.” The PSG attacker’s love for the 7 time Champions League winners has never been tested before with this being the first time in his career he will face the Rossoneri.

Going into the international break, there were questions about Mbappé’s form for PSG but after scoring three and assisting one goal for France, the forward has put these conversations to bed. The Bondy-born forward will be hoping to help improve Les Parisiens’ position in Group F after their heavy defeat to Newcastle United last time out in the competition.
