Marco Verratti and Nuno Mendes return to full PSG training

Christophe Galtier is set to have near-full Paris Saint-Germain squad at his disposal ahead of tomorrow’s trip to crisis-mode Angers, with Thursday morning’s training session seeing both Marco Verratti and Nuno Mendes back in action.

The Italian midfielder had missed the last two league games – against Nice and Lens – with a hamstring injury, while the Portuguese wing-back had been rested in this week’s sessions as a result of hamstring pains after Saturday evening’s win over the team’s then-closest title chasers.

All of Neymar, Nordi Mukiele and Presnel Kimpembe will be out for the rest of the season. After an early-year dip in form, the Parisians can now go 11 points clear with a win against the league’s bottom-placed outfit, with Marseille travelling to Lyon on Sunday evening. Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé are both expected to start, with the pair having both found the net against the Sang et Or last weekend.
