As reported by L’Équipe, four PSG ultras have been banned from several Parisian stadia after playing a role in the violent scenes that led to the abandonment of Lyon’s Coupe de France trip to Ligue 2 Paris FC last month.
The four individuals were arrested after being identified a few hours after the violent scenes at half-time in the match. Paris FC’s ground Stade Charléty, the Parc des Princes, both home stadiums of Red Star Paris and Créteil (both currently in the third tier) and even PSG’s handball team’s arena were included in the ban.
One of those banned is the leader of the Ferveur Parisienne group, a group attached to the Collectif Ultras Paris, a prominent PSG ultra group.
Both PFC and Lyon were ejected from the competition by the French authorities in the aftermath.
