According to Mohamed Toubache, a Premier League side is reportedly interested in Saint-Étienne defensive midfielder Lamine Fomba (25). The 25-year-old French player, hailing from the Paris suburbs has attracted significant attention from the unnamed Premier League side.
After completing a transfer from Nîmes to Saint-Étienne in January 2023 for a fee of €500,000, he quickly established himself as an influential figure within the team. In the current Ligue 2 season, Fomba has amassed 34 appearances and contributed one goal and two assists. 16 of these appearances were for Les Verts, whilst he spent the first half of the season with his previous club Nîmes – playing on 18 occasions.
Born on January 26, 1998, Fomba stands at an imposing height of 1.88 meters and primarily operates as a defensive midfielder. He holds French nationality and has represented his country at the U18 level, accumulating four international appearances and netting one goal in the process.
