Borussia Mönchengladbach interested in Marseille’s François-Régis Mughe

Olympique de Marseille’s François-Régis Mughe (19) is attracting interest from Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

Cameroonian youth international Mughe only made one Ligue 1 appearance, but despite missing some of this campaign through injury, he has already made four appearances in France’s top flight this time around, including two starts. However, he has yet to feature since Marcelino’s departure in mid-September.

Despite his limited exposure, Mughe is attracting interest from Borussia Mönchengladbach and have enquired about the conditions of any potential deal for the Cameroonian winger. However, any deal could prove difficult for the Bundesliga side with Marseille keen to retain the player. Mughe faces tough competition for a starting spot at right wing since the arrival of Ismaïla Sarr from Watford this summer, whilst Iliman Ndiaye, who returned to Les Phocéens from Sheffield United this summer, has been featuring on the right since Gennaro Gattuso’s arrival as manager.
