Andy Delort on Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bułka: “He will be at a big club soon, he’s the best goalkeeper I’ve ever seen.”

Andy Delort has spoken on RMC Sport’s Rothen s’enflamme about current Nice goalkeeper and former teammate Marcin Bułka (24). According to Delort, “He impressed me at Nice. I trained with him every day and I think he’ll soon be playing for a top European club. He’s the strongest goalkeeper I’ve seen.”

Delort highlighted the transformation of Bułka who spent two seasons on the bench with Les Aiglons, notably behind Premier League winner Kasper Schmeichel, but is now the starting goalkeeper at OGC Nice since the start of the season.

Bulka was instrumental in a match against Monaco earlier this season for NIce, when he made two crucial penalty saves from Folarin Balogun to secure a 1-0 derby victory. It was a performance that extended Bulka’s run of three consecutive games without conceding a goal. After eight games in Ligue 1, he has conceded just four goals, making him one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the league so far in the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season.
