According to L’Équipe Paris FC defender Nobel Mendy (19) is set to complete a deadline day loan move to Real Betis which includes a €1m buy option. After only featuring 67 minutes at the professional level for PFC, the young defender could play for one of La Liga’s biggest clubs this season.
He joined the side from the French capital in 2021 from his local outfit FC Mantois before making his professional debut this season, featuring in three Ligue 2 games before Betis came calling.
The Senegalese defender previously played in Paris FC’s reserve side, making 20 appearances and scoring two goals from left back in National 3 (France’s fifth tier).
Mendy is currently travelling to Seville to complete the transfer, which is set to be officialised in the coming hours.
